Math, not advice. What the calculators tell you, what they don't, and where to go for the rest.

⚠️ Important
3Tej is not a financial advisor, tax practitioner, lawyer, doctor, or any other licensed professional. Calculators show what a formula returns for the inputs you give. They cannot account for your full situation. Don't make irreversible decisions based on a 3Tej number alone - verify with a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.
General disclaimer
All content on 3Tej - calculators, blog posts, guides, tables, and supplementary material - is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed expert.
3Tej makes no warranty or representation that the information is current, accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.
Not financial advice
Tools that touch money - tax, salary, mortgage, retirement, investing, FIRE, capital gains, business metrics - produce estimates from the inputs you supply. Real life involves nuance the calculators do not see: filing status edge cases, state surcharges, employer-specific benefits, retroactive amendments, deductible interplay, and many more.
Before you file a return, sign a mortgage, change a 401(k) allocation, exercise stock options, sell property, or make any decision with a five-figure-plus consequence, talk to a chartered accountant, CPA, fiduciary financial planner, or other licensed practitioner.
Not legal advice
Legal information - rights under GDPR, CCPA, DPDP, employment categories, contract templates - is general and jurisdiction-sensitive. It does not constitute the practice of law, does not create a lawyer-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as the basis for litigation, contract negotiation, or compliance certification. Consult a licensed lawyer in your country and state.
Not medical advice
Health, fitness, pregnancy, calorie, BMI, BMR, and similar calculators are educational tools. They cannot replace clinical evaluation. They use simplified formulas (e.g. Mifflin-St Jeor for BMR, Harris-Benedict for variants, Naegele's rule for due dates) that do not capture individual variation. Do not act on a 3Tej output for medication, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a physician, dietitian, or other qualified provider.
Tax content currency
Country-specific tax tools are kept current to the best of our ability against the relevant authority's published rules at the time of last update (typically post-budget for India / UK, post-Rev. Proc. for the US, post-mid-year economic forecast for Australia, and equivalent points for other countries). However:
- Tax law changes. The brackets you see may have shifted since the last edit.
- Provincial / state / municipal surcharges and reliefs vary widely and may be approximated.
- For final filings, always rely on the official authority's published rates: CBDT, IRS, HMRC, CRA, ATO, IRAS, FTA, BMF, etc.
Each calculator page lists the assumed tax year / FY at the top. If you're using the tool for a different year, switch to the corresponding version or check the source.
Rounding, precision, and approximation
Some calculators round intermediate steps for legibility. Where a calculation uses an approximation - e.g. an effective rate over a progressive bracket, an annuity simplified from a numerical series - we say so on the tool page. If you need a number to the last paise, cent, penny, or öre, recompute manually or use an authoritative tool.
No fiduciary relationship
Using 3Tej does not establish a fiduciary, agency, attorney-client, doctor-patient, or advisory relationship of any kind. We are publishers of educational tools.
External links
3Tej links to external resources for reference (official tax authorities, regulatory bodies, primary-source documents). We do not control or endorse the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for changes to or accuracy of linked material.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the inputs you provide. Garbage-in / garbage-out applies; the calculator can only reflect what you tell it. Verify every number you intend to act on against an authoritative source, and seek personalized advice when the stakes warrant.
